Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 Pro use model numbers H3A51 for 100 feet and H3A53 for 200 feet. Govee confirms those model IDs.
Fasco Tracks and Mounts advertises model-specific solid PVC track kits for both. It describes 42 pieces for H3A51 and 84 for H3A53. This is a supplier's stated fit, not an independently tested fit.
Do not buy an old Pro track by accident. GlowTrax and Permanent Light Track say their current aluminum Pro systems are not compatible with the newer H3A51/H3A53 lights.
Evidence status: Sources reviewed November 6, 2026. FoxyPick has not purchased, installed or dimensionally tested the tracks in this guide. Check model-specific fit, stock and price with the seller before ordering.
Use the code on your original packaging, order confirmation, controller label or device information. The tool distinguishes supplier-advertised compatibility from a laboratory-verified fit.
Govee's permanent-light families use different light heads and mounting spacings. A supplier may offer separate aluminum tracks for the previous Pro and Classic generations, but that does not mean its products fit the newer dual-layer 2 Pro.
| Lighting family | Model numbers | Documented supplier option | Material | Evidence confidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 ProNew dual-layer generation | H3A51 · H3A53100 / 200 ft | Fasco standard and PLUS | Solid PVC | Seller-specific fit claim, not physically tested by FoxyPick |
| Earlier Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro | H706A/B/C · H806 | GlowTrax Pro; Permanent Light Track Pro | Aluminum | Supplier-stated earlier Pro fit; both exclude 2 Pro |
| Original / Lights 2 / Elite | H705 family · H805 | GlowTrax Classic and H705/H805-specific alternatives | Aluminum | Supplier-stated fit for this older family |
| Prism | H707 family | Separate exact-model channels or brackets required | Varies | No tested/verified match recommended here |
Sources are linked inside the table. “Fits” means a seller explicitly claims compatibility for its product family; it is not a FoxyPick bench measurement. Check the full suffix, not only the H-series prefix.
A track listing price is not the same as the cost of lights plus installation. These are dated, variant-dependent page listings and not a live quote.
Vendor lists 42 PVC sections for its 100-foot version, 84 for 200 feet, plus listed self-tapping trim screws and Torx bit. White and paintable, according to the seller.
Check exact SKU & stock ↗Includes the seller's track system and additional light covers. Confirm the selected length, whether the covers affect appearance and service, and whether the variant is available.
Review PLUS listing ↗Included as a comparison, not a 2 Pro buying recommendation. GlowTrax also lists its Classic H705/H805 aluminum track for $139.99.
Verify model restrictions ↗*Prices observed on supplier pages in November 2026. Fasco offers different lengths, so the displayed price must be verified for the selected kit; the storefront showed “Sold out” during review. Govee light strings, accessories, shipping, tax and installation are extra. None of the supplier links above are configured as affiliate links.
Measure only the roofline you plan to light. Choose a planning allowance, then enter your actual supplier track quotation. The tool does not assume a particular price or that you should buy more lights than Govee permits.
Material durability and exact-model compatibility are different questions. “Aluminum” is not a guarantee of fit, and “PVC” is not automatically a problem. Product formulation, UV exposure, mounting method and thermal expansion matter.
Powder-coated aluminum can keep a straight line and coordinate with soffit trim, but it transfers heat and expands as temperature changes. Joint spacing, surface finish, drainage, corrosion and safe fasteners still require consideration.
For H3A51/H3A53: the GlowTrax and Permanent Light Track aluminum offerings reviewed here explicitly exclude 2 Pro. We have not verified a 2 Pro-specific aluminum kit from those suppliers.
Fasco says its H3A51/H3A53 tracks are solid PVC and can be painted. Ask for written UV-resistance information, service-temperature limits, expansion allowances, paint requirements and warranty coverage before a hot-summer installation.
For Arizona: FoxyPick has not temperature-tested these third-party tracks on a Phoenix roofline. Govee's lighting component ratings do not establish the track material's durability.
Heat checklist: Review the operating limits and weather ratings separately for the light heads, controller, power supply, cable, connectors and selected channel. Direct-sun roofline surfaces may differ from ambient air. For electric and at-height installation work, follow manuals and use qualified help as appropriate. Read our Arizona lighting guide ↗
A concealed track should be planned for daylight appearance and for later access—not just for how it looks when all the lights are on.
Measure eaves, gables, peaks and returns; note outlets, attic vents, downspouts and obstructions. Make a separate list of corners, end caps and transitions. A “100-foot” light kit doesn't promise exactly 100 feet of usable channel after trimming.
Match H3A51 or H3A53 on the seller listing. Request information about light aperture, fastener spacing, clearance, corner pieces, cable routing and individual-light removal. A model-family mismatch can ruin an otherwise beautiful installation.
Decide where the manufacturer-approved controller, adapter and connections will remain accessible. Consider whether a broken light or cable can be replaced without taking down the entire track. Don't block ventilation or water-drainage paths.
Check physical fit using an actual light and sample track. Make sure covers do not obstruct the lens or prevent removal. Confirm trim color in daylight. Do not fabricate hole positions using approximate light-spacing estimates.
Use approved cut points, extensions, wiring limits and weather protection. Fasten tracks to a suitable substrate with the hardware specified by the vendor. Work at height, wiring modifications and structural attachment can be hazardous; hire qualified installers for difficult locations.
Our roofline calculator accepts actual equipment and labor quotes, without made-up averages.
H706 Pro and H3A51 2 Pro have different heads and spacing.
The wrong hole pattern is still wrong in expensive metal.
Peaks, transitions and end caps affect the final appearance.
Select the exact length and verify shipping, stock and returns.
Make replacement heads and connections accessible later.
If you already own H3A51/H3A53: Fasco has a clearly documented seller-advertised PVC option. Confirm the selected variant, current stock, written compatibility and heat/UV guidance. That is not a claim of independent performance or an endorsement of the supplier's longevity.
If you want aluminum: avoid buying GlowTrax Pro or Permanent Light Track Pro for the 2 Pro; the vendors specifically exclude the model. Seek written confirmation for a purpose-built aluminum alternative, or consider the manufacturer-approved mounting method in the meantime.
If you own H706/H806 instead: the reviewed aluminum Pro kits are relevant to your older-generation system. In every case, an installed roofline's serviceability matters as much as the clean daytime appearance.
Not the reviewed GlowTrax Pro or Permanent Light Track Pro systems. Their vendor documentation specifically excludes H3A51 and H3A53. These products are intended for the earlier H706/H806 family.
Yes. Fasco lists solid-PVC tracks for those specific model IDs, including standard and PLUS options. This is seller-advertised compatibility, not independent physical testing by FoxyPick.
No. Its product documentation calls them solid PVC. It describes the material as white and paintable. Ask the seller for the material and service-temperature specifications relevant to your roofline.
Govee states that a 100-foot kit contains 42 lights and a 200-foot kit contains 84. The nominal implied pitch is roughly 28–29 inches, but actual drilled-hole layout must come from measurements or a dimensioned track template—not that arithmetic estimate.
Fasco's product pages displayed $349 standard and $449 PLUS during our November 2026 research, with variant selectors that affect price. Check the 100-foot H3A51 selection in the store before treating an amount as a final quote.
That depends on the PVC formulation, UV exposure, mounting, paint, thermal expansion and rated service temperature. We have not performed an Arizona heat endurance test. Obtain vendor documentation before investing in a full-roofline system.
Govee advertises cut, connect and customize features, but permitted connection methods and run limits depend on the official instructions. The track's mechanical cut points are not permission to alter electrical cables arbitrarily.
Review the actual Govee warranty and third-party seller terms; consequences depend on what causes any damage. Ask how mounting, modified parts and future repairs are treated before you install or paint hardware.
